The situation
A fictional field service business where nearly all traffic is mobile and most inquiries are urgent.
What was wrong or missing
- Quote request required a desktop-width form
- No indication of response time, so people called competitors too
- Photos of the job couldn't be attached to a request
The approach
A short mobile-first quote request with photo upload, a stated response window, and automated acknowledgement.
Key funnel decisions
- Replaced the desktop-width form with a three-step mobile request
- Stated the response window directly beside the submit button
- Allowed job photos on the request to cut back-and-forth
Result: a mobile-first quote request with photo upload and stated response time.
